I have asked about the zip length. If I google 'half zip cycling jersey', I get pics of zips that stop everywhere between armpit level and solar plexus level. The designs we've been sent stop at armpit level (but that's not to say we can't have a longer zip). Is this something that matters to a lot of people?

I don’t mind, as long as it’s at least sternum length (which is probably roughly armpit level, as described ;) ).

I've heard back. The half zip they do stops as illustrated in the image they've sent us:

If anyone would like to drop out as a result, let me know, ta.

Given the placement of the logo with a T in the middle, it's probably the best option. A zip will disrupt that quite a but.

Full zips are normally a bit easier to negotiate, especially if you're wearing bib shorts/longs and need to go for a wee.

Will this cycle jersey improve my performance on the bike? Will it make climbing easier?

If you believe that it does, I'm sure that'll help.
