Snap Dio - but I bet you didn't bite your mum's head off or that she yet again greeted you with 'Where on earth have you been!' when you saw/spoke to her today.
Where I'd been, was organising a plumber to repair her toilet so it doesn't leak anymore in readiness for her return home, and arranging a viewing on the shelteted flat she said she wanted to see.

My phone has taken over - posted that last post before I'd finished and took me to the Hanging Out the Washing thread, which I don't think I've ever visited before

just found out that the two gormless lads in Common Sense (it's not quite Gogglebox is it?) are sitting in my village pub (how very dare they?)

Saving it for later? Coming back with a muller rice and don't want to forget where they left their spoon?
I am utterly bored. I hate being in the office all day.

This should really be on the Exciting thread but I'm so pleased I thought I'd share it with my mundane homies -
last week the male of the pair of swans who live on our parkrun lake was shot through the head by a crossbow bolt :-(. The bolt went in through the eye socket and out the other side of his head, and he was not expected to survive.
Well guess what, not only did he not lose his eye, or even the sight in his eye, but this afternoon he was released back onto the lake and swam straight over to his missus and his two cygnets :-):-) Amazing work by the local Wildlife Rescue Centre and their vet.
