I can’t help with bike advice as I don’t know enough. I think stick is probably an issue at all price brackets.

That looks just the job LG, I was looking at Specialised when I was considering a new bike a couple of years ago. I never did buy it and still go everywhere on my trusty old Scott hybrid.
