I expect an enthusiastic welcome from my two dogs when I get home in the next hour. I also expect that after just three days in the care of my daughter and my ex-wife that the Labrador will assume she's allowed on the sofa!

I cant use the very fancy kennels for Indi that I used to go to with Eb as they wont take entire dogs or pure breed GSDs but he is booked in where we go training.
No luxuries here; no sofa, TV, swimming pool or out for long walk like the last place, just a big concrete kennel and let out for a short run twice a day. Hopefully he wont have to go too often after this round of weddings....

The place Wanda will be going to is closer to that than luxury too. The 'kennels' or 'creche' attached to the place where we go training is more luxurious (there is a TV den and the dogs sleep in 'bedrooms' with CCTV that owners can connect to and view) but they don't take certain breeds and I haven't enquired as to whether Staffies are among the certain breeds as I suspect I know the answer.......

Ernie will hopefully go to my parents or my sister if we go away. They both live quite far away though so not that handy for short/local days out/nights away. For a shorter trip a couple of colleagues/friends have offered. However, one of our dog walkers does home boarding and Ernie adores her and loves his Tues walk - I think it would be worth the cost.
