panad, thank you for asking. You know when people say, ā€œI feel like Iā€™ve been hit by a busā€? Thatā€™s exactly how I feel! My bumps and bruises are sore but tolerable, but my arm is agony - Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s the fracture or the torn ligament but either way, it really hurts!

Still, Iā€™m feeling very grateful to have two functioning legs so Iā€™m getting outdoors for a walk every day. Thereā€™s nothing bad that couldnā€™t be worse.

I did attempt to do a row of knitting yesterday but it was a no, I canā€™t bend my elbow. Itā€™s going to be a mad panic to get circa 20 hats knit in time for Christmas for dadā€™s carers!

I think thatā€™s probably the route Iā€™ll have to take, HB. I havenā€™t completely abandoned hope yet, but Iā€™ve only knit 6 so far so it feels like misplaced optimism!

Socks finished! Realised on attempt 2 at the toes on the second sock that I *had* decreased correctly, I then didn't arrange the stitches correctly on the needles before doing the Kitchener stitch...

They are very lovely Jen. Iā€™ve made that exact mistake before, but with socks Iā€™ve decided.. No ripping backā€¦ they are only socks and a good place to make mistakes.
