they are all cotton ones some quite old and some quite full of memories. I was going to use 2" wide tape to join them but I thought in keeping with the memory idea I'd use the ribbons from my race medals. Let's hope that works.

I've been making masks. The first three are from the pattern here: en.freesewing.org 3 sizes: S, M, L. The L is ginormous. The fourth is a simple pleated one, no pattern necessary. Basic dimensions: 20x17cm. 3 1cm pleats. The shaped one fits more snugly (especially if you do the right size: for me, S). But the pleated one is way easier to make. All of them are two layers: an old sheet for the lining, and old shirts on the outside. They are very much to stop the wearer spraying virus everywhere, rather than to prevent the wearer getting infected. |
