I presume the main advantage of those mats is insulation to stop feet getting cold whilst you get changed.

My new gloves have only had one outing but they were great. Once I get over my cold I’ll try them again.

That decathlon one isn’t thick HP, so wouldn’t stop your feet getting cold really. I just find it handy to stop my feet getting gritty.

I’ve got a Red robe. Slightly cheaper than dryrobe. Does the same job. Quality is very excellent. I bought Shortsleeved for ease of changing; if you’re intending to stand around in it I’d recommend long sleeves (I also use mine on the touch line at rugby and LS would probably be better for that).

Agree re long sleeves if standing round

My dryrobe was a pressie and in fairness I think it was bought for me to ‘grow into’ so the short sleeves are virtually wrist length anyway 🤣🤣🤣

I wandered into Maccies in mine today and took awhile to realise why I was getting funny looks.

Was grabbing stuff for son and girlfriend. Car queue was huge so ran inside. Must have looked a site in my dryrobe, ugly but warm hat and snow boots.

The joy of winter swimming 🤣

A vote for swimzi here ,love mine plenty of room to change inside it and keep warm, think I said less than I would have for a dry robe

:-( The Boxing Day swim at Sidmouth has been cancelled again this year. Disappointing though I suppose not surprising.
