If I remember correctly this was a couple of minutes after a sugar crash that was rectified with chocolate and I decided to eff off into Wasdale on my own 😀

My round was all the fault of Evil Rich.
I’d heard of it and thought ‘no f***ing chance’. I then did s bit more fell running. Read and re-read Feet In The Clouds (which having re-read and heard Askwith. talking about the BGR and fell running since I think is shite). I then had a think about it. Got the Harvey’s map. Had a weekend running and walking in the Lake District, but not on the route. Did one of the CVFR races where Rich was marshalling the week before his round. Got an fmail from Rich about joining his support crew. Did just 3 legs and ruined myself. The rest is history 😀
