DD happened to mention to grandson that we might get some snow over Christmas. His response? "Great! That means grandad will be over to help me build a snowman."

Must admit they do make great snowmen heart

Getting a pride letter (but feeling embarrassed that I completely missed the suggestion to send them. I am proud of so many Fetchies.)

We have the first-ever Christmas card from a couple we've written to every year since we were married. (40). I think we decided not to send them one this year.

Dad (93) is in hospital. Son 1 has gone to mum's for Christmas Dinner- which mum(97) has cooked. They've realised that neither of them has ever carved a chicken - dad always does it in their household and I always do in ours.

Mum has apparently taken up the challenge :)
