Raptors Claws are coming to town
I've taken the liberty of following your training, tipsku. I always like to be cheering for a few good and improving runners.

Thank you, V'rap. Knowing that someone is checking on my training will be extra motivating.

I shall, of course, blog my own training in gruesome detail. But I'm not going for sub-3:30.

I do tend to blog about my training when training for a marathon but I'm still tentative because of work.

I’m back into my version of a training block.

In practice this generally means gently tweaking up my long Sunday run mileage and one of my midweek runs up a bit and gradually introducing a few efforts or fartlek runs here and there, but probably not for a couple of months.

Spending the winter running on icy, snowy trails, with significantly more incline than my home patch, means that my pace certainly drops but I must be working harder, even maintaining my “run forever” effort levels.

I did a lovely 12 yesterday. If you’ll indulge me, I’ll drop in a pic…..

Cheers chaps. I haven’t got the words to describe how much I enjoy running here (Chamonix valley). The skiers are all cheesed off cos the conditions are lousy for them, but those of us that run too are in heaven. Sure the snow will come again soon enough.

I have a pal coming out in a couple of weeks to run here for the first time. I’m hoping the conditions and terrain will encourage him to slow down for a change. I can’t wait.

Lovely picture, it looks amazing SailorSteve. How long are you going to be there? It sounds like you're going to spend some time in the French Alps. I used to go there in spring for cycling.
