Fragile Do Not Bend
Three male pheasants just wandered across the garden. Interestingly, they are definitely not last year's visitors to the garden - these ones are all sporting John McEnroe-style white headbands 😀 and last year's didn't (I checked my photos).

Red squirrel this morning.
It must have been quite a posh one because it was coming out of the Lough Erne golf club estate, where the leaders of the G8 met a few years ago.

A pair of Ravens seem to have taken up residence near the village and this morning one of them was perched on the back of a long horn cow collecting a beak full of fur.

A run beside the Thames today brought some exotica, namely ring-necked parakeet and egyptian goose. plus a few other ones that I haven't seen this year, including gadwall.

Gadwall is a real one for the 'spotters
Oyks everywhere round my area now. They seem extra squeaky this year too, which is nice Curlew back on their favoured sites too
