[When I used to pitch changes to my US colleagues, depending on the audience, I used to ask for a show of hands with marks out of 5. I did suggest that those only voting a 1 or 2 could make those marks even lower depending which finger and which way they held their hand.]

[ethics training]
What should you do if you are asked for information that you do not have?
Make an educated guess at the answer Ignore the request and hope it goes away Admit that you do not know the answer

[ethics answers?]
Assuming it's something I should or do need to respond to ...
Make an educated guess at the answer => if I have one, offer my opinion (making it clear it's my opinion, not a fact)
Ignore the request and hope it goes away => say I'll check it
Admit that you do not know the answer => say I'll check it AND get back to you

[more ethics]
Connie and John review a spreadsheet and discover an error. Unfortunately, the error is near the beginning, which means that the rest of the data in the spreadsheet is also incorrect. What should they do?
Cover up the error, as that is much easier and faster Ignore the error, as almost no one else will notice it Correct the error and update the entire spreadsheet
