I wonder if the lower heel to toe drop will reduce the sensation of being about to be thrown into a series of forward rolls when I'm running downhill. Not that I'm in the market for these, of course.

I didn't see any Hoka Evo Carbon Rocket on the Hoka stand at the London M expo yesterday, although they had a range of their other racing shoes. Missed a trick there.

Watched at London today and the elite packs were a sea of speedy bright green and bright orange vaporfly shoes! Very few up the sharp end not wearing them!

I saw a couple of pairs of the new 4% orange ones in the FGFA start; I have orange envy!
(I also saw someone start in a pair of the old Adidas adios boost orange, which I still have a pair of, from before I broke a toe. Only good for track sessions now)

Had a long chat with a guy in the new greens. He wasn’t very impressed. Made me laugh!

Imagine it may take a few days to adjust to the new sole from the previous shape. Bet all the pros have had them a while.

I spoke to a guy at the start who got them on Thursday. Sounds like a big risk to me.
My orange ones will do for now 😃

yeah if it was just a new pair of the old shape that would be one thing, but going straight out for a marathon on a new sole with less drop seems a big gamble.
