Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Wore mine in the Mancs marathon yesterday of course. Along with most of the front end of the field, it seemed :-)

Can't say they saved me from all pain and to be honest an 89 sec PB is at the lower end of my aims but .... it's still a PB (2:47:15 and 3rd V50). And I am able to walk today, albeit slowly.

Complete lack of imagination by Nike design team - the new colour for the latest release is..................orange !!

Slightly different shade from the "crimson" ones, and with black "swoosh" and laces, but c'mon, surely they could have come up with something a bit more different than that.

I know, what's the point of getting new ones, if people think they are the old ones :-) Mind you I saw a few of the blue ones around at manchester.

I got the new pair when i had a discount code a few weeks ago, i really wanted the blue ones but they were sold out. DOes anyone have the Red-ish Gyakusou version ? Its a slightly different design and i wonder if it is really the same shoe.

I’m going to give my VF4's there first and second 'race' outing in the coming week. I’m at Southampton parkrun on Saturday and then Maidenhead 10 on Good Friday. It’ll be interesting to see how they perform!

Didn’t make it to Southampton but did Salisbury parkrun instead. Pretty flat 4 lap per all on tarmac and managed 19:17 for a seasons best (by over a minute!)

No miracles for me in my first marathon in several years yesterday, but the shoes were extremely comfortable and I wonder if they helped protect my legs from the consequences of getting a bit shuffly towards the end. No more soreness today than I'd expect when in training.

They're mothballed for another month or thereabouts now.

Wore mine for the longest run yesterday and my feet didn’t like them for some reason.

Looking at the sole they have gotten torn up a bit around the heel ☹️ Must try harder to avoid heel striking!

The soles of mine still look fine, but I've only done 52 miles in them.

They were very good for preventing me from taking extended walk breaks. A couple of times I dropped to a walk to try to shake a tweak out of my knee, and it was like trying to walk on a mattress. Four or five paces and I was back to a slow run.
