Curiously the Tanda calculator had me in better shape than Abingdon last year and forecast 3:09 instead of 3:10 for today. I had run significantly more miles this year but at a slightly slower pace.

Just wanted to say hi, been lurking in here, training for sub 3 but figured on the day it would be a stretch, did the virtual marathon today and managed a 3:08!

Congrats to everyone who ran today, it was tough out there.

Well done Baz. 3:18 in the conditions and on your own would certainly be worth at least 5 minutes more.

Welcome cheekorobins, with a 3:08 virtual marathon you're well on the way to a sub 3.

Massive respect for anybody doing their virtual marathons yesterday. I cut my intended 20 miler down to 14 as it was so horrible.

Well done cheeko, and welcome 😃

What's your running history, have you done loads of marathons, or new to this lark ? What was your training like ? Tell us as much or as little as you want !
