Is that because so many are going for it?

Chris. They only have 6000 gfa spaces now and do just meeting the time is not guaranteed to be enough. Similar now to Boston.

I am thinking ahead. I am in for Oct 2021 but if I want to go apr 22 assuming that’s the next one it might be handy to have a gfa time registered. Whether I am in that shape and could manage the time solo I dong know.

Could you get some people to drop in and out of running with you? Especially if you're doing a loop?

I don't know many people well enough to ask who would run that pace. SiL has Achilles issues that are hindering her right now although one of her friends I think might have a similar target in mind. I am not sure what her plans are though. Might be an idea to try and find out.

I might manage 4 or 5 miles at 7.15s or whatever it is Bazo. I'll call it a tempo! More like a sprint! What's date again?

Make it 4 miles, have a 26 mins rest, then repeat three more times and call it intervals and you can start and finish with Baz.

I'm giving the virtual London a go, I'm probably in sub-3 shape but depending how I attack it I may be in PB shape.

I'm going to have a good think as to whether I have the motivation/mentality to maybe go it alone off the front of a nice group of 6 we have lined up for a week Sunday.

I'd say 3 are in around 2:55 to 3:00 shape, 1 maybe 2:50, another quicker but not bothered about running faster. There's one who I think is a little short on mileage but may just squeak under 3.

The plan for the group is currently to go out at 6:45 pace, I'm wondering whether I can run 6:30s on the 1.7 mile loop we have by running slightly further on the turns, maybe zig zagging a little off the back of the group, etc. Or just maybe the 6:45 pace might go out the window on the day?

Looking forward to it.
