Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'd prefer a 2015 start.

2015 start I would prefer also. My local pool is closing, and a new one opens I think in December! Just done another mile, I can smell the wine, just 3 miles to go. Well done to all.

Would we better starting a "Swim Challenge" thread and keep this one for the Aspire swim only? 2015 sounds good for a start as my pool closes over the Christmas period.

What was disappointing Kimbles? Distance, pace or general enjoyablity?

I shall get to France tomorrow. Then no swimming until my allergic eyes have cleared up (I'm completing the challenge before I see the doctor because I am sure he'll say No Swimming!)

Blackbird Leys ( boy)
Fell asleep after about 50 lengths resulting in me losing count . I just carried on regardless for an hour . Must have done about a mile and a half maybe even more . Can't remember much of it except i had a lane to myself again .(which although good for me is sad in general. )

*flops onto beach* :-) 80 lengths got me to 22.2 miles this morning. The pool was busier today than it's been for a while.

My pool is closed between 15th-22nd Dec (and then only open limited hours over Christmas) so a Jan 1st start would definitely be best for me.

Looks like January 2015 for the start, but I'll try and get the text and stuff together for a December launch. I'm finding lots of nice looking pubs and places to visit on the Thames.
