Still putting in 3 or 4 sessions a week. Only 5 or 6 minutes at a time as my dodgy shoulder is still causing some problems and I have 3x10 min sessions to do with that. Core work seems to be working though. I stood up to Folkworth better this year than in previous years and had strength to push on over the last 800 meters rather than my normal plod to the line and set a pb

I have a sciatic type problem which leads to lower back pain and tight hamstrings and every time I notice this thread I have a few minutes stretching and it really helps. Please keep it going!

And you DT, have you tried the McKenzie method.
I aim to get session in tomorrow and Sunday to finish AB book, not quite fab abs but not far off, bit of definition with the rest just hidden by thin layer of double decker induced fat
Got my body weight workout bible through and will start the plans in that next week, starting on intermediate plan should last me 30 weeks and will then basically be an Adonis, maybe...

Pool was busy with family types at 6:15, so gym or swim turned into gym *and* swim, to kill 40 mins til pool emptied. 50 situps, 1 min x plank, 1 min x side plank, upper body stuff, foam roller n stretches. Then 750m swim. Great running rest day! :-)G

Oh yes, I always feel better after I do pilates. I only wish the physio place around the corner from me did pilates in the evenings. I used to like pilates classes when I belonged to a gym.

Started the beginners program in the Mark Lauren book this morning. Arms not happy already but will get results I can tell Who needs a gym anyway Really good advice on how to make different exercises more difficult which is helpful as haven't got great deal of strength for push/pull sections but will probably need to step up with leg and core sections.
Another half hour done Lil, think you may have to write February off?
