I have also been known to post packages of said oatbased drug to fetchies in return/bribery for sponsorship when I'm fundraising for work.

My shopping list so far.....

Sunflower seeds (giant but not Russian)
Ickle pots (do I need seedteays? What's best?)
Compost (will any kind do?)

I'm guessing things to make them grow reeeeeaaally ginormous aren't needed till they get going.

Don't overthink it, just get planting.
Pots are best. They'll out grow a seed tray very quickly
