The running is feeling hard, @Wabo ! It really is like I have never run before! But I am sure that one day it will get easier! Not rushing things! Enjoy time with your mate!

Morning

I was worrying you would be streaking again soon @alehouse

Enjoy the company this evening @Autumnleaves and @Wabo

Ups @Derby Tup . No slacking now!

Good speed session yesterday @Dustin ?

Got the idea of the fat and skinny 60mins runs @Velociraptor . Like that.

Berlin marathon @Foxy ? I'm not jealous (done it in 2018).

Nice long run @riggys99

pre taper 10k sounds good @Unsafe Breadbin

Hope @ElspethF gets out soon!

What: speedwork?

Why: likely the last chance for it this week. Need to get this regular again and preferably organized for some sort of progression
Last rest: 20.09.24

Lyrics: think so - might have had these already if yes?

Plan: a few hill reps
Trying to build up some (any?) pace
Badminton this evening

Lyrics: Yes
Yesterday's Lyrics were "In the Navy" (Village People)

Haven't a clue about fat and skinny 60m runs @Velociraptor ...
What's on the repertoire @Derby Tup ?
Good long run @riggys99 , is there a marathon in the offing?
Take it slow and steady @alehouse

Good morning Fetchworld B-)

Lyrics: Yes! Were there squabbles in anyone else's family/school playground about the correct order for the next two words?

What: I've programmed a ten mile session with a little bit of something to keep me interested into my Garmin for today.
Why: Last opportunity to do a session that will contribute to my fitness for the Chester Metric Marathon.
Actual race specificity of the session: Low but not zero.
Last hard: Half marathon on Sunday.
Strength training streak: 2 days.

About This Thread

Maintained by alehouse
Each day someone sets some song lyrics, often on a particular theme, eg colours, numbers, running, etc. Others then say whether they know the song or not, but DO NOT say what the song is: the answer is revealed the next day.

Current theme: COLOURS

Contributors then say
What their training will be
Why they are doing it

Some also say
Last hard
Last rest

Plus of course general comments about the weather, other people’s training or races…illness or injuries!
