Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fierce and Fearless Fleecy
Another unexpected fuckup in the calendar area, it turns out that the kids are away on a school trip and don't get back till Saturday evening (the school trip was organised so long ago I didn't have a phone so the dates weren't put in my calendar, I kind of assumed the trip was midweek). So I can probably come after all (and hopefully reschedule his exam, oops). Unless it turns out I'm actually quadruple booked that day...
Are you keeping up at the back there?

Yes, though I feel guilty about the exam as he's actually started practising. And will probably never practice again if he doesn't have this exam. Though to be fair my kids didn't bother remembering the school trip dates and they're the ones going away, not me...

I love a double bluff .. he may even discover he likes it with enough time to put a decent amount of practice in :-)

He's actually improved loads! Though the reason he started practising was because Mr fleecy is a much tougher parent than I am and forced him to do it while I was away, and told him he was shit and to keep going...Hmm.

But yes, I probably won't tell him until he works it out for himself :)

Is not the done thing anymore to have an event created in the race listings? As I nearly double-booked ourselves while looking for future "things to do at the weekends".

ahoy Thames Bridge fans! I have just signed up for the long ride for this - stroke.org.uk

anyone else fancy it?

(Shame we can't make the 8th though, shaping up to be a good one. Also giggling at fckups in the calendar area, would never happen here *whistles and looks innocent* )
