Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I did my 10 this morning and it was very warm. I had some stomach problems and managed to find a public loo open, thank goodness. I had a bit of a chat with LG, while I half struggled up a big hill. ;-) I thought I'd go down the beach for a swim after but that would have been too much hassle so didn't bother. Glad I didn't as it turned a bit cloudy.
I've smashed my monthly mileage total - previously 69, now 85 - amazing! :) Also over the halfway mark for 700 target but not got a heart yet.

Hugs for DQ, and I hope Mr DQ survived his night out! Well done Alpen, cracking running and mileage to be proud of! Stewie glad to hear you have got another PB! LG how did you get on today?

No 10 miler for me, not that I'm up to it really but didn't have time as we were meeting our American friends today. So I just did another three miles, same route as yesterday and the same slow time but it felt easier today. :-)

Thanks folks.

Stew, well done, you'll be ready to join in the SAP 5 mile next month at that rate - nice even pacing. :)

Lem, glad you got out today. Hope you had a nice time with your friends. :)

Good catch up with AR today ;-)

No PB today but a course PB of 11 minutes so happy with that. Thanks to storm Frank back in December the course had to altered in a couple of places and lets just say it was 'interesting' and I'm glad it wasn't wet underfoot. Due to injury this is only the second time I have ran it and forgot how hilly it was.
Away to pop the heat pad on my back as a 'just in case' precaution.
Have a good start to August folks :-)

Just crawling back up on to the wagon as all the wheels fell off in Jun/Jul - and as I am all or nothing, it is ALL for August and I have a nice new plan - just need to meet ALLs best friend call CONSISTENCY now ;-)

Hope you are all keeping well xxx

And having reined it in and been sensible it seems that what I needed was a run. Having fed my body some endorphins I feel far better and much more comfortable.

If only I could guarantee that outcome each time! >rofl< Ah well, it keeps life interesting ;-)
