Just realised, that would have been a great opportunity to use the Merry Christmas and Happy NewG(rrr) function Sorry AR, I don't know anything about testing exemptions. |

57.5 Days of Xmas
Ski touring always struck me as a good run spoiled. I'll spend the £1k on 4 years worth of running shoes and wait till the pistes are accessible again.

AR After having Covid, you can test positive for up to 90 days therefore any travel tests are irrelevant, as they will always be positive, you there fore should get an exemption on your Covid passport, waiting for my son to finish his quarantine (today) to see if you get something automatically

57.5 DoP, very different to running, different muscles etc. Also, doable when it's much deeper snow, when running virtually impossible. But yes, light covering of snow and easy trails to run on, just run! I like being able to do both! Angus, Craigdon in Perth - I rented first, for a week, and they gave me the money off what I purchased. Good service choosing and fitting boots. :-)G |

I've done a few runs in the US on snowshoes with a group on cross country skis. I'd go well on uphills and in the woods, but be struggling to keep up on the downs and flat open areas. Fun though. Mind you a proper pair of lightweight snowshoes will set you back a good few quid. |

Hope some of the folk on here get to enjoy a snow trip somehow this season. If anyone does make it to the Chamonix valley (or is here already) and fancies a bimble, please message me. |
