Oscar the Grouch
I once turned a drill on with the drill bit (correctly mounted) still in my hand. That was on the scary stupid continuum.

I have a habit of touching the grill to check if it is hot. Similar lack of thought process to Oscar, I imagine…

I have never combined Oscar’s and cerid’s issues and grabbed hold of the drill bit immediately after using it

I served up our ready-meal at lunchtime (linguini and meatballs) thinking there wasn't as much on the plate as I was expecting. Then I wandered back to the kitchen to fetch the cauliflower cheese I'd cooked to accompany it.

Remarked to Mrs WM that my u3a magazine had arrived but her copy hadn't .. oh yes it has, she replied. Checked again and I had picked up two copies from the doormat. In my defence, they were stuck close together. There's no hope ..

Yesterday Mrs Axe swapped the way the soap and handcream dispenser were arranged.

Washing my hands with handcream could be excused. However what isnt excusable is making the same mistake later on :-O

I have now put them back in their rightful places

Have you told Mrs Axe that you've switched them back? ;)

About This Thread

Maintained by ChrisHB
This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

=============

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
