G the Ellon race is run by this group middleton-trust.org.uk
Thanks to all that run it, as our rugby club has benefited from monies that have been raised in the past.

Is it down by the Ythan, same as the parkrun? Not that I'm likely to be back in Ellon any time! :-) G

Looking for suggestions for my race calendar for next year. The only definite so far (although I must remember to enter) is the Inverness Half in March. Might do one marathon and although Loch Ness is the obvious one, I did find life got in the way of training at the most crucial time.

I always recommend Strathearn marathon- hilly, but so well organised and friendly, good value and beautiful scenery. It's in June.

That would work, MN. Stirling has been been pulled back and now clashes with hubby's busy period at work, so June is good :) Thanks.

Not sure G, think it was based in the Gordon park, although that does form part of the parkrun route. LG or DQ should be able to tell us the route more so.

The 5k is almost parkrun in reverse. The 10k is a windy one with some solid hills.
