Incredibly grateful that my lurgy did one (mostly) this afternoon and I feel almost human again. To the wonderful teacher I met with this afternoon who does the most fantasy job (and recommended somewhere local to buy a fuse so I could get my windscreen washers and boot working again).
I have decided to supplement my daily reason with occasional conscious random acts of kindness. I think it was included in the TEDtalk the other day.

Lots of good news yesterday. Grateful that my SiL got the job she applied for in the town she just moved to, and my best mate is pregnant after trying for a while Also grateful I had a productive morning today!

i'm alive and pain free - so is my disabled son Phil - my wife is not so lucky, yes shes alive - rarely pain free - living off lots of medication

Sorry that your wife is in pain, Mick, but you are right - i'm constantly grateful to be alive and pain-free. And today I was grateful for my legs which carried me up the hill with not too much pain.
