It was a fantastic race! Shame the descent cost Nibbles and Henao but that's part of the challenge.

Yeah as they said in the commentary, they paid for pushing it as Majka visibly dropped back from them so it was a peril of their tactic rather than just bad luck.

What a fabulous race. You could alomst see Majka,s muscles cramping as he pushed in the 3rd k from home. Once Fuglsang committed with GvA to catch Maijka it was always going to be Belgium for Gold. G had his chance, was it 11th at the end. Great race by GB to be fair.
Started watching the race on Eurosport from yesterday at Hagelland, looks like a great parcours and should enjoy that tomorrow.

Agree GB raced well just down to legs in the end.

Lots of comments about Yolanda Neff going for the double today and the mtb race in 2 weeks time. Even if the number of hills is fewer for the women it will be a hard course, if Emma is fit and is given free reign it might be a course for her but I think it wll be even more of a lottery than for the men.
Watched the Hageland race from friday, what a race, up hills, through forests, on tiny little paths of earth and cobbles. My 2nd favourite race after P-R.

Pooley looks good shame she didn't go in the break. Only just turned on so not sure how it all developed.

That was big crash by the leader. Looked like she had it sewn up as well!
