I'm not making such a narrative. I'm saying it's a possibility as things pan out. As jda says, it's not really clear at the moment.

Yes, but as jda also said there's a how. We've already established that Ukraine offered a mineral deal because they thought it would entice Trump. There's no reason for Trump to be praised for twisting the knife before signing a deal, whatever its contents.

That’s the Tate brothers on a private jet to the States. I wonder if they’ll get a meet & greet from the sex offender in chief.

Just caught up on the Gaza video, wonder what his fundamental Christian fan base will think of it given the first commandment?

It appears that fundamentalist Christians aren’t really very christian. If they will vote in their millions for a lying thieving divorced philandering sex criminal then they really need to go back to Sunday school and have another read of the bible.

The problem with the critique of the "how" is that it still isn't clear that the US has actually got anything new from the approach.
Obviously that flies in the face of my "praise" for Trump unblocking things - if his attempted how has had no impact, then clearly he gets no praise unless the very fact of him creating "noise" around the issue has managed to get everyone to a position where things move. The speed with which Zelenskyy appears to be moving to get the deal agreed suggests that most of it was already pretty well concluded or agreed anyway in advance of the Trump shenanigans.
He'll take any "credit" anyway, that's his ego centred approach.
Ref the Tate brothers. Hope justice gets served, but doesn't appear likely now.
