Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

"I’m standing to be the next leader of the Conservative Party and your Prime Minister.

Let’s restore trust, rebuild the economy and reunite the country."

fozzy - I don't mind Starmer, but it worries me he is not ahead of Sunak in head to heads. He was totally the right man to take on Johnson.

But in a battle of dull forgettables, he will lose. Wavering Tories want stability and Sunak will offer them that. He's been good recently, but he is going to have to communicate a bit better. Let's not forget Sunak vocally sounds like Blair, Starmer has that nasal thing that people don't warm to. Politics shouldn't be about that, but I fear it will be.

Clarification: Starmer has been good recently, Sunak hasn't.

Big opportunity for Starmer both to get Tories to believe in him but also decent minded folk too: socialists, liberals, floating voters, WANDs etc ;-)

Sunak is an austerity PM isn't he? High wealth tax cutting, minimizing state, reduce state spending, etc? Another 10 years of austerity will cripple poor families. :-( :-(

The socialists I’ve seen hate Starmer. Though still doesn’t mean they won’t vote for him.
