I tend to be a bit shy when touristing too so would avoid a cowl personally. Regarding tourism, I have three Saturdays in a row in various parts of Scotland in the summer so hope to take in three new parkruns (staying with friends in Edinburgh, visiting Dumbarton and Lerwick either side of visiting rellies). I really hope Bressay is on when I get to Lerwick but will have a run somewhere near if it isn't.

We really need a few more vests so we’ll probably get pink ones as we won’t be able to get additional yellow ones.

57.5 Degrees of Pain
I have done about 2/3 of the Scottish parkruns, Bressay and Levengrove are two of my favourites TomahawkMike.

I had to do some serious swan wrangling once at Victoria juniors. When I did a warmup for U of Stirling last week there was a swan to avoid on the course. It kept away during the event that time though.

57.5, that's a good recommendation then. I love it that you have to get a boat to Bressay. I have relatives in Bantry but haven't been able to visit Bere Island parkrun yet as it hasnt worked out time-wise, but that also requires a ferry.

@Fragile
Have they said you can't get the yellow vests? They aren't doing pink for juniors, so they're still ordering yellow ones.

Also any event that changes to pink has to send back the yellow ones so presumably there will be some available

Yeah Richard. You can't get new yellow ones. You can keep your yellow ones or swap them for pink ones.
