Stunning if Baltic morning at Crosby parkrun on the beach. Not done it before but had some other stuff on locally so took the opportunity.

Loved the Another Place statues wearing parkrun hi viz and acting as marshals!!

I accidentally ran 17 miles including Bedworth parkrun number 2.

I have 3 weeks of racing next month so have planned in some volunteering and coffee drinking.

I quite want a purple wrist band. Been married for 18 months now and still haven’t got the promised new wristband from hubby in married name so time to start dropping hints again

Did my 249th today so rather excited for 250 next week- I’ll be the first woman in Aberdeen to reach it. If anybody is about I’ll be doing it at the beach and there will be cake!

Larkim: pleased you enjoyed running with 'The Hundred'. The beach truly is 'Another Place' after every tide.

I run daily and it's rare I don't have the Iron Men as company.

I've done a 5:30am run along there a few months ago, but the statues weren't visible at that point, much nicer to be running near / around them!

(Course measured quite a bit short though, which is odd as its practically a straight line so no where really to get the usual GPS errors. Not saying it's short or long, just surprised at the measurement. Don't know it is a usual piece of feedback for that course. Not an issue for me, I was just using it as a progressive run, each km 30s/mile faster than the previous, which was nice though a bit more of a challenge into the headwind for the final 2km!)

Sunday night sees me do a 'darkrun' and I'll take in the length of the beach as well as the tracks & trails parallel to the prom. It's a route that allows for a rare quality of reflection - you're right about the wind, though! Unforgiving. The measurement is a curiosity. Hope you avoided the ridged sand.

Last Sunday, I ran past a figure that I thought was an Iron Man but turned out to be a young man in a long, dark coat :-o standing stock still and looking out to sea...at 9pm!
