Just discovered the organiser lives down the road. I might just push it through the door. Tempted to do this in my lunch hour.

Foxy - I have 2 within 2 miles and frequent neither.

The closest one I have done once and the slightly further away one 3 times.

There are probably another 5 within 15 miles but

If I have time it's Newbury(22 miles) or I am away.

larkim - quite strict rules about bringing flyers and flags to parkrun - I'd recommend emailing the RD in advance.

Anybody know the nearest parkrun to Looe? The map doesn't work on my phone. TIA.

@Jovi - really, that's a shame. But I'd have thought most RDs would OK it - and as they are public spaces it couldn't really be stopped (though I wouldn't suggest anyone did anything like that as it would cause friction etc etc).

I thought leafleting for clubs and local races was positively encouraged.

I would check with the RD, but we would usually welcome input from local running clubs and give a shout out for their events.

You get a lot of junk emails from people wanting to use your event for promoting or selling something that is going to make them masses of profit and not benefit the community which is different and we politely decline.

We've not had one yet but other local parkruns have had club takeover days where running club members fill the roster.
