Iirc HQ did that through the newsletter for Pymmes Park. I was looking through the results for an anomalous jump - might have been the week it went from 13 to 33.

Pymmes was for a long time a very bijou parkrun: 3x 5 finishers; 4x 6; and 28 runs in single figures. Not in the very early days either. But recently, usually drawing over 100. There might be an interesting story behind that.

But if a small event suddenly gets mobbed they aren't ready for it Just saying
But then it wouldn't be a small event, hence unattractive ;)

BK brighter days ahead
have always found that the nicest parkruns have been the smaller events which tend to have a greater local community involvement.

I came 11th out of 41 at Stonehouse a year ago.
Such a nice, friendly parkrun. Flat with lots of free parking and just off the M5. I'm amazed they don't get more

No.12
Clonakilty, 25 runners. 5 volunteers, although I had a feeling that whoever came last was automatically nominated the tailwalker. Very relaxed and friendly parkrun

Thurso is small. But not that small. Usually around 50. It's nice.

Stadspark in Netherlands was my smallest, with 19 finishers in July 2022. Very friendly and the organisers provided biscuits and coffee from flasks for afterwards as there was no cafe.

Sonsbeek in Netherlands on Xmas Eve was larger (31), but also very friendly. About half the finishers went back to a cafe where there was a large bench table reserved, which was really nice.

Tokoinranta in Helsinki often gets 20-30 finishers, although goes up a bit in the summer, but still stays small. I’m mentioning this as this is a very central location, pretty close to the city centre, yet for whatever reason is still small.

Dvorak I did Pymmes in June 2013 thinking that if I didn't do it soon I would miss my chance, as it might just stop. I came 7th out of 18 runners. I'm glad it is still going and has healthy and manageable numbers.

I never managed to get there, but Moberly parkrun parkrun.us generally had a small turnout.
In 75 events, they only saw double figures twice (11,15).
An average of 3.64 finishers, with a median of 3 - and a mode of 1.
