2009 David Gilmour received an Honorary Doctorate from Anglia Ruskin University. David had attended Cambridgeshire College of Arts and Technology, now part of Anglia Ruskin University, which has campuses in Cambridge and Chelmsford. Greppers tries to forget that nobody had thought of Chelmsford in their most perverse nightmares back when DG and I attended CCAT and sets the next clue from his most convenient midden. |

I did my computer science A Level at Chelmsford Institute of Higher Education. That got eaten by what ended up being ARU, too.

I still go there (ARU) from time to time for lectures - PIER (Policing Institute for the Eastern Region) is an ARU-backed 'theory of coppering' thing of which I'm fond. aru.ac.uk |

I like the dates on that, 1979 as if it was ancient. I gave up on Pink Floyd after realising DSOTM was utter mush in 1973.

There’s a kind of skiffle band (bull fiddle, acoustic guitar and something else - violin possibly) that sometimes play in the upper west atrium at Tottenham who do a really good cover of WYWH.
