They're fine to do that if they're willing to call a spade a spade and admit they're going to the shops in an outdoor dressing gown.

We've seen people wearing them to the theatre down in Devon. Bonkers.

January wiped out for me with a cold /flu . One of our trio of winter swimmers has just had a knee replacement so not been in either so it's all been a bit naff lately. Hopefully we'll all be back n song soon. We are heading of to the south Devon for the Bantham swoosh for a bit of fun in the summer . I'm staying down south for a week and doing a tri in north Devon the following weekend. If anyone's done the swoosh, I'd be interested in your thoughts and tips. ( I'm not looking for a time, it's just fun) but also any great swim /run places to visit along the south west coast before I head to north Devon. I may drink a bit more d cider and good beer as well 😁 |

Yep a group of us did the swoosh a few years ago and sone of them have been back and volunteered and done the boomerang. It was my first swim event so I was really nervous before it but thoroughly enjoyed it. We camped at the site the night before the event and then moved onto a B&B for a couple more nights. My top tip is don’t forget to look around at the scenery during the swim. The swoosh part is great fun but it’s a long swim to get there, so make sure you have trained to a fair distance before hand. |

I think we recorded some stuff for the fetch podcast while we were there so maybe have a listen back to episode from July 2023.

I only lurk on this thread, but I saw this and thought it might be interesting. It's a new film / documentary based around a reservoir near me. Looks like it's coming out soon. The trailer is on wildwaterfilm.net |

I did the Bantham Swoosh in 2019 with the aforementioned Fetchies. Also done the boomerang and volunteering. Swoosh is great fun. Another year on a September holiday to the area we did a guided swim around Burgh Island. Which was also worth doing. |
