There are days in Sidmouth where a wetsuit swim would be perfectly do-able whereas the lake will be too cold for months yet.

ferret Dec 2017 2:30pm, 26 Dec 2017 2,290 posts	0 ferret Even a few minutes headup breaststroke helps keep me not exactly adapted to the cold but happier in the spring, failed this year, did lots of miles in a 25m chemical bath. Next year, let’s try it.
