Wondering if it's worth adding 1tbsp of posh stuffing to sausage meat as not breadcrumbs or to just ignore it!

Stuffing I learnt to make from my old next door neighbour's "Granny's stuffing".
Chop a couple of onions, cover them with water and boil until soft. Take off heat and add sausagemeat and a packet of Paxo. I don't like stuffing, but I love this.

Dio only frozen granary so no good for stuffing
I usually have a bag of breadcrumbs made up from left overs in the freezer but forgot this year

not got them! porridge is manky! I'm sure posh stuffing will be ok I have too many bags of work stuff in cupboard to see if I have a packet of breadcrumbs!

ar - I prefer mince (low fat) to sausage meat. I don't boil the onions, but I do add some finely chopped mushrooms. And more sage. And pepper. And 'cheapo' Tesco S&O, not Paxo. No real breadcrumbs.
Although have switched to turkey crowns, since the rest of the househould objected to my 'twelve days of turkey' at Christmas. I think it was one year I came back with 2 extra turkeys on Christmas Eve as they were 80% off in Tesco and too cheap not too.
