Waiting for a bus to arrive. Have done some last bits of shopping whilst in town. Also got logs so we can light the fire. Feeling rubbish.

Turned off phone for funeral. Bad move. It’s obviously been years since I’ve done that. Completely forgot SIM passcode. Locked out. A lovely web chat with Minaj in which I got almost all the answers wrong! Even postcode. I couldn’t remember if I’d updated address as I’ve moved! At least I got DOB right. Eventually got it sorted. She was very patient

Hope the funeral was as Ok as they can be, Kim .
Been too busy for much Fetching - if I kept my house properly clean I wouldn’t hav the frantic rush around before visitors *sighs*.
If I wasn’t such a snob about food I like for Christmas I wouldn’t have to spend so much time making it either *sighs* again.
Still haven’t wrapped presents, determined not to be doing it at midnight tomorrow as per, but …

That’s another Scottish expression (like messages) that makes me smile, referring to where someone lives as where they stay. To me, somewhere you stay is a place you live in on holiday or when visiting people as in “we’re staying with my brother for Christmas or we’re staying in a B&B for the wedding.”
