Not holding out much hope. Anyone else fancy the raidlight Peak District 50/100 on the same weekend instead?
flyingfinn Sep 2021 3:54pm, 3 Sep 2021 2,837 posts	0 flyingfinn RH the limited number of places (I think it's a total of 200 combined for all 3 races split 100 for the 100, 70 for the 50 and 30 for the marathon) for the PD race means that it's likely to sell out very quickly when entries open tomorrow. So you'd have to enter without knowing your ballot result from LL.

Not having entered the LL50/100 since the ballot came in I didn't realise you didn't commit to payment when you entered the ballot (that's what I would have expected of the organisers tbh!) so that changes the equation somewhat. I have to say I wasn't very inspired by the routes for the Peak District races. There seemed to be a lot of dead running on either roads or the old railway trails (in one case the route follows a relatively major road, albeit with pavements when there is a parallel footpath...) to get the distance up without adding much interest.
