STOOSH
Well done and commiserations to those whose race didn't quite happen this year.
I personally withered in the heat of Friday night, struggled through the night with my body trying to go to sleep on me. Felt great at daybreak but was soon to crash between dockray - dalmain where everything that went down came back up and that continued to the end. Was character building if anything. I'd like to go back in a few years chase the time but was happy to get the finish this year.
My feet are a mess but legs are in not bad shape! Enjoy the recovery time before it's time to start again!

Well done folks! 😀
That was the most emotional prize giving I’ve been to.
Chapeau to everyone.
The biggest hat is doffed to Kinks though. That lady is a Legend.

Hello, I saw Kinky collecting a special prize, this pleased me immensely and was also a surprise because when i looked at her tracker it said retired at Ambleside
My tracker was stationary for an hour coming in to Mardale because I was , dealt with my second case of heat exhaustion- possibly heat stroke who collapsed in front of me with no one else around. The first was Fusedale and after we’d cooled him down a bit a retiring runner walked him down
It was pretty hard going out there and the heat put paid to quite a few races

The night was lovely 😊 needed jacket and gloves at 6am temp really dropped
Spent too long at Chapel stile waiting for hot water for tea and I seized up The leg to Tilberthwaite was hard, think I also aquired a little fine gravel in my socks, Bacon sandwich at Tilberthwaite was essential, was really hungry by then, but my knee didn’t like the rough descent one little bit - sprint finish was madness that lefter me in tears and my legs are not going to forgive me for a while
