Amazing, well done.

I was telling my mum how resistance training and weight bearing exercise were excellent for women and she reacted like she had never heard of that.

Cath - that's a great testament to the benefits of lifting weights.

I've not been able to do much in the gym this year, mainly due to a knee injury and my fat % has crept up to 27%. So back on my mission now to get it down to nearer 20%, and to increase muscle mass too.

OK so hands up I seem to be doing something wrong!

Just booked a massage as I seem to have done something to my left bicep brachii short head (get me and my google searching!!)

I have no memory of a sudden pain lifting and it's fine most of the time but hurts taking off my bra and in some positions when sleeping or lifting my arm.

Because I don't lift that heavy or indeed often it hasn't stopped me doing my sessions but I feel I should do something before it comes an issue as it's been niggling for a few weeks.

what exercise do you think would have caused it? I'm going to search my log to see if I can pin point it - the only thing I can think of was that I did increase my weights but as I only have limited weights did I jump too much? (I've dropped back down as I am close to my race and don't want to break myself!)

My left arm is my weaker arm too
Thanks clever people

Today’s PT session was a repeat of the 1st monster session, four exercises of ten reps, back to back then 90s rest repeat four times, followed by a different four excercises of six reps again four times. Was a rather sweaty, sweary session and he sneaked the hex bar up to 60kg. Felt really good at the end if a bit tired.

About This Thread

... a weights wire for women.

And in case you're wondering about that title, well, I like alliteration and one can be too po-faced about the use of girl/lady/woman.

Here's a strength standards for women thing Duracel found for us
