Nice lifting SPR and the sessions sound great. Duracell, better to pull out and come back stronger another day although frustrating at the time, hope you're back to full strength soon. Doing testing this week interestingly I've kept my weights fairly low this season and I'm not too far off last year. 45kg Bench - failed at 50kg, mid summer I;ve been at 60kg but with a little assistance. 90kg Deadlift -failed at 100kg, need to work on leg and hip action as my back is STRONG- last year I think my grip could only cope with 95kg so was happy with that one. 30kg shoulder press- failed at 35kg, my left arm shot up but my right arm was stuck, more a range of motion/firing than lack of strength but something to work on. 93kg Leg Press - a couple of years ago I was comfortable at 100kg and up to 120kg -my quads and glutes were having none of it, they fired but nowt shifted beyond 93kg. |

Finally back to my 100kg on deadlift! Still a bit to go to get back to my 1RM but feeling a lot happier OHP is pretty much back to where I was; bench still rubbish! Trying to do more Strong Man stuff - that's where my heart really lies but very bruised after a kegs session.... I do look like an abused wife at times! |

Haha tried some bench pressing for laughs today, coach gave me 35kg which I managed, not sure I could have done much more. You ladies are seriously strong! My thighs continue to be my power area. Useful for triathlons really 😃 |

Jude well done not sure I could manage that I was done 40kg dead lifts and squats on Wed and was pretty pleased but my upper body whilst much stronger than it used to be still requires work! |

Good work all. Tuesdays are currently snatch work days for me, working on improving my snatch technique. Thursdays are clean & jerk but not pushing myself to my limit and squat. At the moment I'm also doing some light snatching at the start to reinforce technique. I'm having the Thursday before XC and the week after off. |

I started lifting again a few weeks ago As before, just a very small selection of compound exercises My arms would tend to support the bulking myth, except they can't support even something that insubstantial because they're all girth and no strength. And I'm currently squatting with a whole 15% of my bodyweight. |

Missing lifting - won't be able to lift for at least another 4 weeks and feel like my strength will disappear! Downing some body weight squats and Single leg Romanian deadlifts to just try and maintain some glutes!
