I’m in Hereford this weekend and although we didn’t set out to see Carla Molinaro we were on high ground not far from her route and I was keeping half an eye on the tracker. We saw her across fields just south of the River Wye this morning.

Looks as if she is following a pattern of starting at 5am and running pretty much exactly 70 miles, then resting.

Hi Garfield - I was going to post there as I know there has been some discussion, but wasn’t sure whether it was a bit too off topic ...

Dot watching should really be on here since there's a specific thread, plus 870 miles on road, not a step off-road, is the very antithesis of fell running ;-)

I posted link on here but highlighted LEJOG page on BGR page for interest parties. There was cross over for rest strategies of Wainwright’s and Pennine Way worthy of discussion. Carla is ours 😂

Yes, the strategy is interesting - not that I'm interested in doing anything like that but very nice to live vicariously through them! ;)

Going to be her latest finish yet tonight, looks like she still has about 10k to go, and already at 15h 45m
So going to be after 10pm until she finishes, then needs to eat, etc and if starting again at 5am, will be a lot less sleep than previous nights

Yes, I noticed she was still going when I did my last refresh a short while ago!
