Great to meet Joopsy. Top bloke. Thanks for the consoling words at the finish.

Don't be hard on yourself pal, we all have bad days and I never even got to the start line today.

Sorry you didn't get the run you hoped for fenders, maybe next time.
Had to run naked, when I found the Garmin dead on race morning, must have saved me an hour or more not having to check my wrist every few minutes. But the last few miles were torture, bit knowing how far to the end. Marshals were amazing and the organisation very slick. Big thanks of you were one of them.
Got fairly frustrated at the supporters and dogs filling the finish marquees. And jumped on the 6 bus back to Milngavie

I've never been in so much pain as Beinglas to the finish. And the weather didn't help!!

Shouldn't post from my phone, I'm useless with it
Was weird to see 'barefoot aleks' around Crianlarich, not sure what he was doing, certainly not offering support.. Raising his profile or waiting for admiration mayhaps?

I was at Rowardennan marshalling, just before the chip timing mat as you dropped down to the checkpoint. I was with Siouxsie who is also a fetchie.
