I remembered Mrs coulter capturing Lyra and keeping her drugged in a cave for a long time in the book. I would really like to see a director's cut reinstating the Asriel episode and maybe re-editing the last 5 minutes of the last episode. Did I remember correctly that all the series had been shot together to make sure the actors playing Lyra and Will didn't age too much? Hopefully there's not a year's worth of CGI to be done before we see series 3.

Found this series a bit disjointed but that may have been due to the missing episode. Some parts were great, especially Lee Scoresby's death scene But the witches were underdeveloped and there was too much exposition. Worst of all though is that they killed Boreal so no more Ariyon Bakere!!! I thought he was the best thing in it (so menacing!), so I'll really miss him in the next series.
