I have been very good on my calf exercises/stretches over the past few months, but other than that am a bit slack. Trying to find some ones to do for the outside of my knee, but am struggling to find ones that feel like they are doing any good.

Need to do mine 3 times a day following hip injury. Doubt I'm averaging 3 a week atm. Will start doing it properly tomorrow (I'm too ill today, hence trauling through threads and not being at work).

Little Nemo - slow-but-steady
We will let you off for today Ryan, but you have to do them tomorrow! :-)

Have you tried the foam roller HB? If it's the outside of your knee it might be a problem with your IT band?

I haven't as yet, no, I need more money :-(

I initially thought it was IT, but the sports massage person couldn't find any issues, and the problem has moved down a bit to level/just below the kneecap. If that makes sense. So no-one seems to know exactly what it is.

I just need to get through the next fortnight, as I have the Stockholm Half at the end of that. Then I'll go to the doc's again and try and find out the exact problem.

Actually I've done this before but can anyone recommend a roller? I might as well bite the buller and spend. In theory it can only help me. I have one sat on my Amazon wishlist but as usual am clueless about what is good and what is not. And if all foam is, well, foam.

Multiple posts, apologies, but in case anyone was going to offer advice. Have stuck my finger in the air, looked at a few reviews and randomly got this one: amazon.co.uk

So hopefully it will help out. Just need to find some exercises that concentrate on that niggly knee bit.
