Yeah, I would rather have had more time to think about it. However, I'll probably enter, as the date is ok and it's the best/local choice for me. I'll not be thinking about my 2:50 target until a bit nearer the date though

It is a shame AL, but I'm surprised Liverpool half is so late, isn't it normally mid-March? I wonder why it is 3 weeks later in 2017 than it was in 2016.

They've changed the course for 2017 (without actually announcing it!) greatermanchestermarathon.com and I've got to say I don't like it, although I can see why they've done it.

AL, I thought the same until speaking to someone from my running club who is involved with the organisation of it today. Liverpool half passes over a bridge over the entrance to the docks which needs to be passed at certain tides which limits the date choice for the run. They then fit that in with BTR Liverpool's other races.

jda!!! When I plotted the 2016 route here on Fetch I got 26.47miles, but I've just plotted the new 2017 route and got 26.3miles (with slightly less elevation). AL - PeeG beat me to it... which is probably fair enough as he's the one who told me it anyway!
