Nywanda Sep 2011 10:05pm, 7 Sep 2011 2,601 posts	0 Nywanda As said before the race, I somewhat 'strategically' started in the white group and stayed wide for faster folk to pass. Had no issues whatsoever and still finished with loads of white bibs at 3 minutes outside the official white cut off. I positive splitted by 25 seconds, on that course the second half shoulda been quite a bit faster but hey ho. That sucks that the blues were held up.
labwalker Sep 2011 11:27pm, 7 Sep 2011 54 posts	0 labwalker I agree with Nywanda. I applied and at the time was definately in the yellows. But over the months totally improved on my time. Could say the yellow walkers interlinked across the street held me up. But HEY HO. We got what we applied for.

The pre-race info had clear information that people should not do that and that persons intending to walk should station themselves at the back.

labwalker Sep 2011 2:25pm, 8 Sep 2011 58 posts	0 labwalker LOL@ silverbirch. I just wish they had had the good manners to go to the back of the yellow section, instead of barging right to the front and then causing hold ups. However it made me not take St Vincent Street to fast for my own good.
