Well done everyone I was running a mate in and spectating at the half, only saw/ met a few people on the day (only a few Fetch vests) though I did get to see the leaders running in for a change (including Sunbed and BedlamG) and first Scottish woman, local Fiona Matheson - setting a new British W50 record! Then LouLou and SoaPM but at their speed I never realised who they were until they had passed. Ended up lightly overdone after being out in the sun so long. I was a bit chawed at the start not to be running especially in such ideal conditions: have to make sure that I am in shape for next year.

Quite enjoyed my GSR 10k but agree with one of the race comments that the people are just too densely packed, I got stuck right at the back of the blue start and it was just a solid wall of runners to pass the whole way, had to constantly pause for new gaps to appear.

Ulric from what my OH said as he was watching the waves pass, the blue wave had the most runners in it. I couldnt get into the holding pen and had to wait at the side and filter my way in as runners passed.

It did mean I ran a huge negative split. In fact my second 5K was faster than my 5K pb :()

You can download the pdf and get 5, 10, 15k and finish times. Mine is missing the 10k split.
