Dio, I think for northern teams Palace is awful to get to, especially as we usually play you midweek away which involves getting through peak London traffic. I shall await the incoming 'all Man United fans come from surrey' gag.

Paul, spot on on both counts. The save was something else.

I've only been to Selhurst once with Spurs, but I think it was against Wimbledon during a ground-share? We played them 4-5 times in the space of a few weeks between a 2-legged league cup semi, a league game and an FA Cup game (and replay?). Anyway the away leg of the semi, 1-0 Spurs (Iversen) IIRC.

It seemed a bit of a schlep from whichever station to the stadium on foot, but probably no worse than Seven sisters to WHL which is eminently walkable as long as it's not pissing down. A late night getting home but not terrible.

But I realise it would be very different for Man U fans travelling back to [checks notes] Esher.

The walk from Seven Sisters to WHL (and back) was epic! And scary.

I remember going to a Spurs/Arsenal game when the police had the brilliant idea of dividing the High Road in half down the middle after the game with a line of police/horses.

It worked brilliantly as the fans abused each other across the divide….but they only had resources to cover the first 2-300m. I guess they thought everyone would have calmed down by that point…..er No!!!

Great thing about coming to watch United these days, celebrating like mad when we get an equaliser at home to Bodo Glimt. 😂

We are dreadful.

Typically Spursy, after hammering City, lucky to escape with a draw against Roma.

United were a lot better in the second half but wasted so many chances, in the end hanging on for 3-2. Two good finished from Hojlund and it t was him being a nuisance that made ethe first.

Rashford again showing why he needs binning, his energy and effort is appalling, he does his best to give off the impression that he would rather be anywhere else.

Yes HOD but how many Roma goals disallowed for marginal offside? 2, 3? Plus a couple of great saves from Forster to keep us ahead. After a strong first half we allowed Roma to boss the game for most of the second and we had very little going forward. The chances we did get were lost to poor decision making from Solanke and Werner especially, shooting when a cross or pass was the better option.

Werner is dreadful

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
